With seating for up to 90 guests and space for 125 in the evening, it’s the perfect location for both intimate ceremonies and lively celebrations.
Surrounded by lush, landscaped gardens, tranquil lawns, and sun-kissed terraces, The Oak Barn is framed by breathtaking views of the Devon hills and the timeless St. Andrews Church, creating a serene and romantic atmosphere for your special day.

The Winter Wedding package offered us a once in a lifetime opportunity to bring our family and closest friends together for a weekend of celebrations in a special place that felt like home for a great price. From our first visit to the moment we left after our wedding day Katharine was kind, helpful and extremely accommodating. Wendy's food was delicious and her teams service was top notch. Everything we needed to entertain and host guests from 8 weeks old to 80 was available on site in a beautiful setting on the edge of Dartmoor. We would 100% recommend a winter wedding at the Oak Barn for any couples looking for a weekend celebration of love and joy.

The Oak Barn is a beautiful wedding venue in a historic Devon farmstead situated within beautiful rural surroundings, with endless photo opportunities.
We are "venue only" so couples can organise a unique wedding with the suppliers of your choice (though we are happy to make recommendations). The owners are on site throughout to give advice and assistance if needed. Weddings here tend to be family orientated and are relaxed and happy affairs.

Included in the hire cost of The Oak Barn are three ensuite double bedrooms sleeping a maximum of eight guests for two nights.
If required there is additional accommodation on site available exclusive to the wedding taking place accommodating an extra 20 guests.
The Linhay has a sumptuous bridal suite upstairs and two more ensuite bedrooms downstairs. The Acorn Barn has self-contained accommodation upstairs and there are four bedrooms available in the farmhouse.
